Razor-qt on ARM (Ubuntu 12.04)
I have an Toshiba AC100 netbook, which is an Nvidia Tegra 2 (ARM) device. I am running an Ubuntu 12.04 beta 1 on it. But netbook has only 512MB RAM and after starting Unity desktop there is not much free RAM for applications and the computer is very slow. So I wanted to install Razor-qt on it, which is an minimalistic desktop manager and consumes less memory. But there was no packages in Ubuntu repositary for ARM platform, so I downloaded source codes build an Ubuntu DEB package. To install Razor-qt download an DEB package and double click to it, after that an package installer will start (click install). After successfull instalation logout from Unity, on login screen choose Razor-qt desktop manager. Thats all.
